To POGGIO ARTILLA Farm
A characteristic farm in the heart of Tuscia, an area of origin of the Etruscan civilization. The property consists of 7 hectares with ancient olive trees and a vineyard, three houses and a yurt, a panoramic swimming pool and a vegetable garden. There are also some suggestive tuff caves, one of which is designated as a wine cellar and wine-making showroom.

The swimming pool is a 12m x 6m infinity pool with a continuous depth of 1.3 m. There is no safeguard service and adults are required to overview the kids.
The pool is seasonal and usually opens from the end of May to the begin of October. You can access the pool area from 9 am to 9 pm.
The pool is at disposal of ALL the guests of Poggio Artilla. You may reserve the exclusive use of the pool by booking the main house (Casale) with an additional cost.
We hope you can leave the rooms by 10 am so we are ready for new guests by 3 pm
Smoking is only allowed outdoors
We can also organize dinners and degustations of traditional products on request. The availability depends on the season as well as number of people and the duration of your stay. You are welcome to ask for more information and always check with us before.
The breakfast is normally served from 8.30 am to 10 am and is the traditional sweet continental breakfast, including coffee, tea, milk, and our homemade products such as jams, cakes, biscuits as well as seasonal fruits from our garden
Pets are allowed everywhere in the respect of other guests needs but in the swimming pool area. The whole property area is fenced and if you rent the little independent house called “il Casaletto” there is a dedicated fenced space to keep you 4-legged-friends outside
We adopt a strict cleaning and disinfection protocol of rooms between check-ins and daily in common spaces in order to keep everyone safe. There are hand sanitizers at the entrance and in different places of the houses, please use it frequently. Inside the houses, everyone has to keep a face mask in place and keep social distance unless the whole structure is rented by a family group.
There is a minimum stay of 2 nights for the farmhouse stay (rooms) or the Yurt and of 3 nights for the rental of the bigger house (Casale) or the little one (Casaletto).
There will be a deposit to be paid at the reservation which will be fully refunded in case you have to cancel your trip up to 30 days before arrival.
For group stays in autonomy (Casale and Casaletto), there is a security deposit to be given at arrival that will be given back at the end of your stay after the final check.
Un’esperienza unica, a contatto con la natura. Lo YURT dalla Mongolia, regala emozioni uniche . Al bagnetto, accanto allo yurt , ci si arriva attraversando avventurosamente un piccolo ponticello mobile. Vari punti di relax esterni permettono di sedersi comodamente , fare un barbecue o usare la pulitissima piscina. I proprietari ti ricevono con simpatia e cortesia per la colazione nel grande casale , il tutto con viste strepitose! Intorno paesini e borghi da fiaba, come il borgo antico di Castiglione in Teverina . Qui c’è pure il museo del vino più grande in Europa ed è da non perdersi. A mezz’ora dal lago di Bolsena. Insomma, un posto del tutto speciale.

Marinella and Robertos place is just stunning. The cottage is thoughtfully constructed amidst a gorgeous landscape. Robertos ecological vision make the stay even more special.
Ogni volta che torniamo al Poggio (questa è la terza) riscopriamo l’ospitalità, la cordialità e la bravura di Marina e Carlo, ogni volta che andiamo via pensiamo già a quando ritorneremo: tutte le passeggiate che dovremo fare, tutti i luoghi ancora da visitare e tutte le nuove ricette di Marina da gustare…
Un posto speciale. Le parole non sono in grado di descriverne l’essenza, anche le foto di Roberto, seppur molto precise, non ne restituiscono completamente la bellezza. I veri custodi del posto sono il gallo che scandisce l’alba e il robotino che ogni mattina pulisce la piscina. Difficile andar via, vorresti restarci per sempre.
Frequentiamo questo agriturismo ormai da una decina di anni. Ogni volta rinnoviamo lo stupore di un posto meraviglioso, curato e accogliente, un angolo di paradiso dove ci rigeneriamo per affrontare un nuovo anno lavorativo. Marinella, Carlo e Roberto sono dei gestori esemplari: sempre attenti alla cura e al rispetto del luogo, innovativi e al tempo stesso fedeli alle buone tradizioni, amano questo posto con una passione incredibile che dà evidenti risultati.
Non mollate!! Noi non vi lasceremo mai 🙂
